The SPARK
The SPARK is the library’s makerspace where hands-on learning is encouraged with individual and collaborative creating, building, and exploration in the areas of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM). The space features a weekly craft, a flight simulator, various STEAM kits, and programs led by library staff and community members.
Library of Things
The Library of Things is a unique collection of non-traditional library items outside the realm of books, DVDs, and music. Items range from board games and puzzles to musical instruments, pickleball sets, crocheting supplies, radon detectors, therapy lamps, and so much more. The collection allows patrons to borrow items they may only need occasionally, helping people save money, reduce waste, and share resources.
